∼By Will, in May 2001
Northeastern Coast, USA, Fall 2002
My second time to travel with Dad in America, both on business and on vacation, before my Army Service of 18 months. We arrived first in New York for 4-day stay, followed by another 4 days in Boston, the city of the US I enjoy most. Heading for Washington DC for an international conference, ISARC, held by NIST, I visited the Capital of the US twice again. There we had meals with Yuchen and Roslie, two Taiwanese girls living abroad for years.
Kwase, Japan, Spring 2002
Spring of 2002, my little cousin Kain finished her one-year studying and graduated from Japanese Language School in Osaka. She's sort of such a frugal person, almost stingy, that she didn't turn on the lights at night to reduce utility expense, let alone to play around with a digital camera. Thus my "Mission" was, bring a camera ,take pictures during her graduation ceremony, and keep company with Mom and Kain to see around the cites in Kwase area...
Western Coast, USA, Summer 2001
Finishing my miracle tour in Canada, I met Dad in Seatle Airport, who bravely came from Taiwan by himself. It's my first time to see him after the six-month seperation. Later on, we rented a jeep, bought some meals and a road atlas of the US cities, and began a unknown adventure along the western coast of America...
Southwestern Coast, Canada, Summer 2001
Seen off by Yusuke, Jen, and Shanny in Austin airport, I left Texas for Victoria of Canada to attend an international conference, CSCE 2001, alone. Victoria will be definately in the top of my list of cites to return in the future before I die not only because of her beauty but because of that I suffered the most painful 24 hours waiting for my first English presentation in the Convention Center of Empress Hotel...
University of Texas, Austin, USA, Winter 2000
Saying goodbye to my parents and my friends, I went to Austin, Texas for half-year language training. The most unforgetable part in thost months was not that I visited many beautiful places, but was that I met couples of best friends in my life, Yusuke, Taekyun, Jen, and Shanny....
